A National level, 2 days Hands-on workshop on Qualitative research methods & data analysis on 23rd & 24th September 2022 was conducted by the Dept. of Community Medicine in collaboration with Tamil Nadu chapter of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) for the second time in the last 10 years. Participants included faculty from various Medical Colleges, Post graduate students & PhD research scholars from the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra, Telangana, Maharastra, Odhisha and Gujarat. The participants learnt not only theoretical aspects of Qualitative research but also received a hand on training on conduction and analysis using software such as Anthropac and Atlas TI. The workshop on Qualitative research methods was a rare opportunity for faculty and post graduates in the medical, dental and para medical fields.
