A two-day National Workshop on Health Economics Evaluation was held on April 26th and 27th, 2024, at the Government Medical College, Omandurar Government Estate. The objective of this workshop is to equip mid-level & beginner level faculty to be able to do a heath economic evaluation in their setting. This would enable them to plan a Health Economic Study with Cost data & QALY (Quality-Adjusted Life Year) and express the results in such manner that the policy makers are given the correct scientific advices. This workshop was conducted in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Alliance for Development of Community Medicine (TADCOM).
