An awareness program on prevention of water borne diseases was organised on 04.11.2022 in the Out Patient Department of Govt. Medical College, Omandurar Govt. estate. The awareness program showcased various exhibits/ models, charts, posters, pamphlets on common diseases of Monsoon season like Dengue, Typhoid, Cholera, Chikungunya, Leptospirosis and other diarrhoeal diseases. Hand washing techniques and preparation of ORS was also demonstrated to the public attending OPD. Dept of Yoga and Naturopathy also participated in the program and created awareness on the healthy food, Kabasura kudineer and home remedies.
